PRIVACY NOTICE REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
This Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform the stakeholders of eebst.ekoevo.org within the scope of EEBST 2026 about the processing of their personal data by eebst.ekoevo.org in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”).
a) Methods and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through electronic or physical means. Your personal data, collected for the legal reasons stated in this Privacy Notice, may be processed and shared within the framework of the personal data processing conditions set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
b) Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes within the framework of the personal data processing conditions set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law: planning and executing the activities necessary to maintain the products and services offered by eebst.ekoevo.org; carrying out the necessary work by business units to enable relevant individuals to benefit from the products and services offered by eebst.ekoevo.org and conducting the related business processes; carrying out the necessary work by relevant business units for the execution of commercial activities conducted by eebst.ekoevo.org and managing the associated business processes; planning and executing the commercial and/or business strategies of eebst.ekoevo.org; and ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial-business security of eebst.ekoevo.org and the relevant individuals with whom eebst.ekoevo.org has a business relationship.
c) Parties with Whom Personal Data May Be Shared and Purposes of Sharing
Your personal data may be shared with business partners and suppliers of eebst.ekoevo.org, legally authorized institutions and organizations, and legally authorized private law legal entities, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for purposes including: planning and executing activities necessary to maintain the products and services offered by eebst.ekoevo.org; enabling relevant individuals to benefit from said products and services; executing commercial activities; planning and implementing business strategies; and ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial-business security of eebst.ekoevo.org and related individuals.
d) Rights of Data Subjects and Exercising These Rights
If you submit your requests regarding the rights listed below as personal data subjects to eebst.ekoevo.org through the methods specified under the heading “Exercising Rights by Data Subjects,” your requests will be evaluated and concluded by eebst.ekoevo.org as soon as possible and in any case within 30 (thirty) days.
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, as a personal data subject, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed
- To request information if your personal data has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad
- To request correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately, and to request that this correction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred
- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data when the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, even though it was processed in compliance with the Law and other relevant legislation, and to request that this action be notified to third parties
- To object to any outcome that arises against you as a result of the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems
- To claim compensation for damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of your personal data
Article 28, paragraph 2 of the Law lists the cases in which data subjects do not have the right to make requests. In this context, the rights specified above cannot be exercised regarding data in the following cases:
- When personal data processing is necessary for the prevention of crime or criminal investigation
- When personal data made public by the data subject themselves is being processed
- When personal data processing is necessary for regulatory or supervisory duties or for disciplinary investigations or prosecutions carried out by authorized public institutions and organizations or professional organizations with public institution status
- When personal data processing is necessary for the protection of the State’s economic and financial interests in relation to budgetary, tax, and financial matters
According to Article 28, paragraph 1 of the Law, in the following situations, data falls outside the scope of the Law, and therefore data subjects’ requests will not be processed regarding such data:
- When personal data is processed by natural persons solely for personal activities or activities related to family members living in the same household, provided that the data is not disclosed to third parties and data security obligations are observed
- When personal data is processed for purposes such as research, planning, and statistics by anonymizing it for official statistics
- When personal data is processed for artistic, historical, literary, or scientific purposes or within the scope of freedom of expression, provided that it does not violate national defense, national security, public safety, public order, economic security, the privacy of private life, or personal rights, and does not constitute a crime
- When personal data is processed within the scope of preventive, protective, and intelligence activities carried out by public institutions and organizations authorized by law to ensure national defense, national security, public safety, public order, or economic security
- When personal data is processed by judicial authorities or enforcement bodies in connection with investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement proceedings
Requests regarding the exercise of these rights may be communicated to eebst.ekoevo.org by data subjects through the email address provided on our contact page. eebst.ekoevo.org will evaluate and conclude your requests on the matter within 30 days.
