Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Symposium – Mersin, Türkiye 2026
Organized annually by the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Society of Türkiye (EkoEvo), the 12th Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Symposium (EEBST 2026) will take place in Mersin. This year’s symposium is organized in collaboration with Mersin University and Middle East Technical University – Institute of Marine Sciences.
Following last year’s meeting at Hacettepe University, EEBST 2026 will be held from July 6–10 at the Mersin University Uğur Oral Cultural Center in Mersin, Türkiye.
EEBST serves as a dynamic meeting point for esteemed researchers and enthusiastic students in the fields of ecology and evolutionary biology. The symposium will also feature prominent keynote speakers. We are delighted to invite you to this upcoming gathering in Mersin.

The examination and selection of abstracts will be carried out by the international scientific committee through a blind peer review process.

Getting to Mersin University
From Çukurova International Airport (COV): The airport offers direct flights from various European cities. HAVAMAŞ shuttles depart every hour to the city center, stopping at Forum Shopping Mall and Sayapark Shopping Mall. We recommend getting off at Sayapark, as it is much closer to the university. From there, you can take a public bus, a minibus (dolmuş), or a taxi directly to the campus.
From the Intercity Bus Terminal (Otogar): Regular bus services to the campus are available via Bus Line 77. Alternatively, taking a taxi is a much faster and more convenient option.
